When speaking with Jackie Allmond of BMC Supply Company on their participation with Village Park Homes’ St. Jude Dream Home, he stated that the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway is a wonderful thing and he has hopes the home will be given away to somebody who truly needs the home. BMC is donating the trusses, windows, and doors for our Dream Home and we are grateful for BMC’s time and materials. This is the third St. Jude Dream Home Allmond has assisted with and we hope that his love for the organization extends over into everybody who has been a part of our mission this year!

In a recent interview, Rick Watson of Watson Development Group said that when asked to install the framing for Village Park Homes’ St. Jude Dream Home in the snowy January of 2018, he readily accepted the job as he has a love for the Lowcountry community and loves doing business with Village Park Homes.
Builder’s First Source, a company that is “driven by the desire to provide professional class building materials and services to homebuilders and remodelers across the country” (About Us) is providing framing material for Village Park Homes’ St. Jude Dream Home in Richmond Hill, Georgia.

Well known exterior designers and businessmen in the Lowcountry, Justin Harvey and Chris Dalzell, contributed the vinyl siding and brick to Village Park Homes’ St. Jude Dream Home, which is currently being built in Richmond Hill, Georgia.
Village Park Homes reached another milestone in its mission to build the 2018 Savannah Area St. Jude Dream Home. Yesterday, in Richmond Hill, Georgia industry partners, sponsors and supporters of Village Park Homes’ construction of a St. Jude Dream Home arrived to the model home with excitement. In gathering, we all were refreshed with information on the incredible foundation that is St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and everybody that is involved with this specific project was recognized for their services.
When Brent Miller, the co-owner of Savannah Floor Covering, was approached by Shaw Industries to participate in the St Jude Dream Home project, he readily agreed as this was a great opportunity to give back to the community and to help St. Jude continue their fight against pediatric cancer. This is a cause especially dear to his heart as he has two young daughters and his wife is a pediatric nurse practitioner.
Village Park Homes is extremely excited to be a part of this mission to further the research to cure pediatric cancer. A tradition of St. Judes Dream Home Giveaway is to have the patients draw and design an alphabet letter that stands for something they have personally experienced. This project is symbolic towards all that is the children of St. Judes and their experience as patients. St Judes turns these drawings into framed and matted 8×10 posters and are sold for $250, all proceeds go towards the St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
