BUILDING FOR A CAUSE

Village Park Homes, along with numerous local and national sponsors who generously donated their time, materials and talent, worked together to raise $675, 000 in the 2019 Dream Home Campaign. Combined with the 2018 St. Jude Dream Home also built by Village Park Homes, a cumulative 1.3 Million dollars has been raised in the fight against pediatric cancer.

Bald Eagle Partners Donating To the 2019 Savannah St. Jude Dream Home

Within the past decade, Scott DeCain and Paul Larner of Bald Eagle Partners have found an immense amount of success in the Southeastern Region of the US in acquiring and developing land. It was at the tail end of the real estate depression that this duo began their careers as entrepreneurs. Among many of their projects is Rice Hope Plantation, the location of our 2019 Savannah St. Jude Dream Home. Bald Eagle Partners generously donated the lot for our home.

Last week in Rice Hope Plantation, Village Park Homes reached another milestone in our 2019 Savannah St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway Campaign, the Floor Signing. All profits from this Dream Home Giveaway raffle contest go directly to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Business owner and Dream Home veteran, Miguel Baca, continues to provide quality concrete services to the Savannah region and we are grateful to have him as a major donor on our mission to build a St. Jude Dream Home. BACA Ready Mix will be providing all of our concrete work, which includes slab, leveling, driveway, sidewalks, and porches.

Premier Exteriors Donating Towards the Fight to Cure Pediatric Cancer!

Well known exterior designers and businessmen in the Lowcountry, Justin Harvey and Chris Dalzell, contributed the vinyl siding and stone to Village Park Homes’ St. Jude Dream Home, which is currently being built in Rice Hope Plantation in Port Wentworth, Georgia.

Village Park Homes’ St. Jude Dream Home Campaign Donating Towards Proton Therapy

Danny Thomas, founder of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, began fundraising for his vision of St. Jude in the early 1950s. Through will power and support from the communities he joined throughout his lifetime, St. Jude now proudly operates the first proton therapy center in the world dedicated to children with cancer.

Island Improvements Donating to the 2019 Savannah St. Jude Dream Home

Phil Nold, Director of Sales and Design at Island Improvements, opened up about their involvement in helping Village Park Homes build the 2018 St. Jude Dream Home in Richmond Hill, Georgia saying “other than the fact that it is the greatest cause on earth, we are business partners with Village Park Homes and we want to do our part with helping in any way that we can along with helping sick children get better.” But Nold is also a cancer survivor and knows that any time you are trying to do research for cancer, especially with children, it is a great cause.

At Village Park Homes, we are committed to causes that bring light to our community. With the honor of being the builder for the Savannah St. Jude Dream Home campaign, we are excitedly beginning the process of building the home that will be raffled off to potentially raise $675,000. All proceeds go directly to treat and defeat pediatric cancer and other deadly diseases.
