Construction Starts Administrator Spotlight – Jenna Marstiller

As a Construction Starts Administrator, Jenna Marstiller spends her days elbows deep in paper work determining the most efficient way to further the pre-construction process, but out of the office you can find this girl with a heart of gold spending down time at the pool, reading a great book.

Jenna has a background in customer service, which has led her into many different fields. Her last position was with the Town of Bluffton, which offered her the opportunity to meet many individuals in the construction field. Now that she is seeing how this industry operates from the homebuilder’s side, she has gained a deeper respect for the industry. “I think it’s remarkable to be one small reason a family gets to call a house a home.”

Her favorite floor plans are those offered in Westbrook Grove at Savannah Quarters as she loves open-concept floor plans and courtyard entries. In Westbrook Grove we offer 8 home designs. Below is our Hawthorne Design, a 3 BR / 3 BA / 2229 sq. ft. home offered in Westbrook Grove, with a base price of $359,900.

Day-to-day Jenna works directly with the Purchasing Department, superintendents, and vendors to ensure we have certified starts for the construction field. She takes pride in her daily pursuit to create a fluid system with zero errors coming from the Operations Department, allowing a nearly perfect construction process. Along with that, Jenna works to verify house budgets to compare to our actual purchase orders.

“I enjoy the feeling of encouragement and celebration of success as a team. I love feeling a part of something great, and the Village Park Team is great.”

Perhaps it is her breadth of experience dealing with the general public that has taught Jenna about patience and there is much needed for this position! Jenna explains that the most stressful part of the pre-construction process is waiting for the jurisdiction to approve our building permits for construction. Concerning the future of Village Park Homes, she has hopes individuals will continue to move to the Lowcountry, seeing how beautiful of a place it is to live.

“I’m happy to have joined the Village Park Homes team and look forward to many years of continued success with excellent teammates and leaders.”
